I started D3 Therapy Services in honor of my late husband who passed in 2023. I was in search of a therapist who understood not only the primary loss of losing a spouse, but all the secondary losses too - financial, coparenting, support, safety, security, etc.
There were plenty of grief certified counselors in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area, but none that spoke of being a widow themselves. I saw the need for me as a therapist to come forward and identify myself as a widow to let other widows and widowers know that I understand the ripple effect of losing a spouse and that there is hope towards living life after death.
Grief is complex. The training behind this work reflects that. Here's what I bring to every session beyond lived experience.
Attending to my true love language - exploring new food joints.

Therapy is built on genuine connection, and that means you should know a little about who I am outside of the session room. These are a few things that have carried me through the hard days and continue to show up for me.
